I am an Artist and an Advocate for the Arts and Community Building.  I retired from Human Resources work for the National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences in 2013. Since them I have been creating ceramic tabletop sculptures of figures that I call Spirit Guides– Angels, Goddesses, Shamans, Sun Gods.  I also make functional pottery, jewelry and photographs.  I direct a choir of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities called The Grace Notes.  We perform at a variety of community events. I am the Accessibility Coordinator and work on special projects for Burning Coal Theatre. Recently I have become a self-advocate for aging in place. I am helping to educate others on the benefits of cohousing communities while helping to build the one where my husband and I will live.
