"Presenting, in visual form, a spirit of self that resides within and relates to others of similar spirit, is the goal. The journey toward this end necessitates growth beyond the obvious, both in the artist and the viewer. Elda’s technique using watercolor and pastel is only the tool by which she works to grow to this goal."
